Networked and robust mobile computer increases performance

Today, business life is characterised by quick processes and fierce competition. High flexibility, on-time delivery and undamaged goods go without saying. Efficient work processes, intuitive applications and current technologies are coming to the fore more and more.

Mobile computers play an important role in the process: In conjunction with application solutions, they map the entire flow of material and information in the supply chain, analyse error rates, and ensure more suited work processes between incoming goods, production, warehouse and outgoing goods.

Processing times are reduced

Mobile devices help to reduce transport and processing times and to shorten transport routes. The mobile computer CK3X made by Honeywell assists continuous work processes.

On account of its robust housing it is suitable especially for use in warehouses, in industry and trade, for tracing goods or in rental management. CK3X survives repeated drops from a height of 1.50 m, and has protection class IP54. In addition, the battery runtime is sufficient for an entire shift operating at a capacity of 3.7 V, 5,100 mAh.

Using its strong scanning performance, even hardly legible and damaged codes in 1D and 2D barcode area can be read in well. Omni-directional scanning and high motion tolerance permit error-free scanning. Optionally, operators use the EX25 near/far 2D imager for scanning 1D and 2D barcodes from a distance of 15.2 cm to 15.2 m.
